We are looking to add a flexible schedule resource to our HR team who will provide hands-on support with projects and processes both in the Saint Peter office as well as the ability to work from home on non-office work; this does allow for a great deal of flexibility with a portion of hours able to be completed outside of core office hours for a highly skilled and independent HR professional. With the variety of tasks impacting us as a national, multi-state employer, the Human Resources Associate (Casual/On-Call) will provide support in a variety of aspects including staffing, compliance, and maintenance of our employee records, while providing general support to the Human Resources department through ad doc projects throughout the year. Some weeks may be 10-15 hours of work while other weeks may not require any assistance for the team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
• Assist with recruitment efforts (posting employment opportunities to job boards, assist with resume and candidate screening, scheduling interviews, notifying applicants of recruitment status, contacting professional references, coordinating onboarding experiences with new employees, etc.).
• Execution of compliance-related research and/or projects.
• Assist with filing, status updates, auditing, and/or reporting when needed.
• Assist with monthly reporting activities as well as updating key metrics.
• Prepare and execute wellbeing activities.
• Track required compliance training.
• Facilitate quarterly service awards.
• Assist in the plan and execution of various employee events intended to engage and recognize staff, both onsite and virtually.
• Special administrative and general HR projects as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
• Prior experience or training in Human Resources or a Human Resources related field.
• A motivated and responsible self-starter who takes direction well and can work independently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, effectively, and cooperatively with other people in a results-driven environment.
• Ability to communicate, listen to and understand information and ideas presented (in-person and virtually).
• Strong communication skills; both verbally and in writing, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Highly organized, strong attention to detail in order to produce the highest quality work, including follow-up and follow-through.
• Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Creative thinker and problem solver.
• Ability to work in Saint Peter, MN office as needed.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
• Successful course completion or experience with HR related topics in areas such as recruiting, leadership, compliance, HR Information Systems, etc.
• Prior experience in a recruitment role.
• Experience manipulating data, compiling analysis in Microsoft Excel.
Full Pay range: Non-Exempt ($14.08 - $17.60 - $21.11)
This is the pay range for our staff in this position, from entry to fully independent and proficient in the role utilizing our propriety systems and processes. The candidate selected for this position will be offered a wage applicable to their background and skill set as aligned to our business. This will result in an initial offer between $14.08 - $20.00 per hour for this position.

This position offers flexibility when it comes to its schedule and responding to overflow needs from our HR workload which will allow the individual to work from home for most activities but will require some onsite office duties in our Saint Peter, MN office as needed.
