We are currently searching for an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer / Intelligent Transportation Systems Engineer to join our world class firm in Tempe, AZ.

As our newest team member, you’ll play an active role in the development of plans, specifications and estimates for intelligent transportation systems, highway lighting, traffic signal design, and electrical systems supporting transportation assets (movable bridges, pump stations, toll gates, reversible lanes, etc.), construction inspection, field data collection, and report writing. We’ll provide you professional development and guidance while you assist in the development of ITS solutions, complete street networks, and project reports.
Some tasks may include but are not limited to
• Developing one-line diagrams, panel schedules and voltage drop calculations
• Sizing conduits and conductors per NEC guidelines
• Coordinating with local electric utilities for new services when needed
• Using Agi32 or other lighting software to perform lighting calculations and provide photometrics for various clients

Here's what you'll need
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel
• Strong analytical, conceptual, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ideally you will also have
• GPA of at least a 3.0
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
• Knowledge of AGi32 or Visual Lighting Software

60,000.00
Posted Salary Range Upper
90,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $60,000.00 to $90,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
