Job Summary The candidate will work as a Tool & Die Maker responsible for machining support for engineering and production groups. They will create and modify tooling and machine components using CNC machines and EDM machines while maintaining quality standards and adhering to safety procedures.
Skill Requirements
• Must-Have Requirements:
• CNC milling
• Tooling
• CAM programming
• Blueprint reading/Geometric tolerance interpretation.
• Precision measuring instruments
• Preferred Requirements:
• Experience with 3d CAM systems, i.e., Esprit or Mastercam
• Knowledge of GMP
• Skill Education
• CNC milling : Computer Numerical Control (CNC) milling is a machining process that uses computerized controls to operate cutting tools that remove material from a workpiece.
• Tooling : Refers to the process of designing and engineering the tools used in manufacturing.
• CAM programming : Computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) programming involves using software to control machine tools in the manufacturing process.
• Blueprint reading/Geometric tolerance interpretation : Understanding technical drawings that detail dimensions and tolerances necessary for manufacturing.
• Precision measuring instruments : Tools like calipers and micrometers accurately measure the dimensions of manufactured parts.
