Minimum Qualifications
Requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with complex accounting systems.
• Experience training others on business process systems.
• Experience using graphic design software (such as Adobe Creative Cloud products and Canva) for producing program and event advertisements.
• Experience with social media promotion pertaining to special events and academic program recruitment.
Position Summary
The Office/Clerical Lead for the Department of Public Administration and Policy in the School of Public and International Affairs is the sole support for the Department. The Office/Clerical Lead serves as the main contact for the department and works independently to oversee general operations. In addition, the Office/Clerical Lead coordinates faculty recruitment , special events, and internal and external communications (social media). The Office/Clerical Lead prepares and initiates departmental business processes that flow to SPIA's shared services business team. The Office/Clerical Lead reports directly to the Head of the Department of Public Administration and Policy.

• Update website and social media content weekly with news about alumni, faculty, and students. Take photos at events for use in advertising and social media.
• Create website material (student and faculty profiles, department activities and honors, etc.).
• Create and implement social media marketing campaigns for strategic events and ads for target audiences.
• Design conference ads and posters for programs.
• Collaborate with marketing team at the School and University level to execute promotions within strategic brand plan.
