CDL Local Route Driver
Description:Responsibilities:
• Transporting finished goods and raw materials to and from the main manufacturing plant and local warehouse.
• Maintain an accurate count of incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Build and stage accurate loads for orders.
• Find, load and unload inventory using a forklift in a timely and safe manner.
• Organize inventory in the warehouse in a responsible and efficient manner.
• Shuttle product to and from the brewery safely.
• Drives in a safe and lawful manner. Maintains an acceptable driving record.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and shuttle truck
• Upkeep maintenance of shuttle truck and trailers
• Backup driver for local delivery/sales route, which includes the following responsibilities:
• Drives a semi-trailer truck to make deliveries to businesses in the local region.
• Delivers and stacks merchandise on customer’s premises.
• Utilize brewery marketing material to build displays in on/off-premise locations.
• Collects proper payment (cash or check), makes change and records transactions on customer receipt.
• Records delivery information on delivery records.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid CDL Class A License
• Accurate math skills, including adding and subtracting two and three-digit numbers.
• Valid driver’s license issued by Minnesota.
• Clean Driving Record
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Forklift certified or willing to become forklift certified.
• Comfortable working on computers.
Physical Requirements
• The performance duties of this job include regularly being required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and talk, hear, and smell.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 155 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb.
• Must be able to critically assess the quality of inventory, including beer, packaging, and raw materials.

*Schedule*: Monday through Friday (7:00 am—3:15 pm), with some flexibility for Saturday Mornings. *No overnights, and home early each day!*
