Utility position available on our night shift, hours: 6p to 4a. Position is resposible to supply all needed materials to direct labor workers. Materials included: raw material; compound, magnet, colorant and boxes for extrusion. prepping WIP material for finishing department and having in areas close to table. Distributing any supplies needed at work stations. Responsible for reading of daily schedules in extrusion and finishing to effiiecently keep both departments supplied with materials. Must be able to drive a forklift and charge batteries for lift. Use of pallet jack is required daily. Must have ability to lift 50 lbs, at times overhead. Responsible for organization of warehouse in regards to raw materials. Person will also stack all finished goods unto pallets in front finishing room following routing for directions. Utility completes all compound changeovers for extrusion operators. To ensure proper material is used. Returns all raw materials, finished goods and WIP to proper place in warehouse or WIP area. Responsible for empty tote boxes and rearranging totes as needed throughout the day to create more skids for extrusion. (essential) Assist QC personnel in moving pallets in and out of QC area. Any additional work assigned by supervisor or lead to help with efficient running of the plant. Qualifications: This position must be able to lift 50 lbs. It requires one to be able to operate both pallet jack and forklift. Ability to read and use a tape measure is also required. This position involves a great deal of walking, bending and twisting.
