Location : Mankato, MN Job Type : Full-Time Schedule : M-F Salary : $60,000 - $70,000 Benefits Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance 401(k) & matching up to 3% ESOP with company discretionary contributions Health Savings Account/ Flexible Spending Account Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance Employer Paid Life Insurance 3 Weeks Paid Time Off and 9 Holidays Tuition Reimbursement Earn 8 hours PTO for 8 hours of volunteering About the Role The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for daily functions in the Human Resource Department including but not limited to recruitment, employee maintenance, and benefits. Responsibilities Work with managers throughout the recruiting process Support and administer the onboarding processes of new employees and conduct new hire orientation Ensure that the HRIS and employee files are kept up to date. Conduct 90-day reviews Ensure accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information Respond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan terms, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries Complete Employment Verification requests Assist with day-to-day operations and duties of the HR department Execute additional tasks as needed Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Experience with UKG, preferred Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) Skills Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Resourceful, problem-solver, able to prioritize and multitask Detail oriented and organized Able to communicate effectively with great people skills & a sense of humor Team player with a positive attitude Self-motivated and work independently with minimum supervision Unshakeable integrity MEI’s 50+ years in the elevator industry gives us an unparalleled ability to handle both custom and standard elevator projects with ease.
