Kids X-Cel Center is a play-based early learning center that is passionate about the growth and development of children ages six weeks to kindergarten. Our mission is to provide a safe, stimulating, and caring atmosphere where children can learn, play, and thrive. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, a passion for working in a childcare setting, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities - Administrative Support: Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining records. - Enrollment Management: Assist with the enrollment process, including handling inquiries, processing applications, and maintaining enrollment records. - Financial Duties: Manage billing, invoicing, and payroll processes. Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable. - Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, staff, and vendors. Distribute communications as needed. - Scheduling: Coordinate staff schedules, manage appointments, and organize meetings. - Compliance: Ensure the daycare center complies with state regulations and licensing requirements. Maintain up-to-date records and certifications. - Office Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and organization of office supplies and equipment. Qualifications - Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred. - Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a childcare or educational setting. - Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and QuickBooks. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. - Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required. - Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 20 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
