North Star Aviation is seeking a highly motivated and organized Scheduling and Student Support Coordinator to join our team. As the Scheduling and Student Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing a group or about 12 schedulers in coordinating the schedules of instructors and students. Please see below for a more detailed job description Tasks: Responsible for coordinating and managing a scheduling team of approximately 12 Helping ensure accurate tracking and upkeep of student records in compliance with FARs and standard operating procedures TSA student coordination throughout the process of application and maintaining clearances Ensuring proper coordination with TSA and 49CFR1552 of proper student and employee documentation with yearly audits Student progression reports and facilitation of needs for students that fall behind Track student no-shows and meet with students accordingly, should a student exceed 2 no-shows, involve Chief Flight Instructor Assist in training new Flight Instructors on the necessary knowledge and applications to ensure proper scheduling procedures General Awareness of the I.C.E. programs applications, progressions, and compliance with all applicable parties Scheduling and tracking of stage checks to be fully efficient with the time scheduling when it comes to student needs. Communication between student progression and the Director of Flight School Operations – Dispatch to ensure attention is being given to the needed areas. Scheduling and facilitation of lessons for accuracy and student progression. Effective communication with each department when problems arise. Primary contact for student needs in relationship to getting on the schedule or other issues/complaints Accurate student documentation for attendance, progression, and documents needed to fly. Perform oversight and training for schedulers regarding essential job functions. Oversight on student finances regarding their flight labs and facilitation of payments when needed. Help resolve system errors for students and instructors as needed. Excellent communication and people management skills Customer experience or logistics experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Previous experience at an airport is not required Education and experience Bachelor's degree preferred Logistics experience preferred Customer Service Experience preferred If you are a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and people management skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at North Star Aviation.
