ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Supports HUSD Vision, Mission, and Goals.
• Provides on-site support and leads all training of Kids Club staff.
• Ensures proper Kids Club program standards are met at all sites.
• Ensures all sites are properly equipped with supplies to carry out the programing needs.
• Ensures appropriate daily staffing and coverage at Kids Club sites.
• Assists with staff interviews and reference checks.
• Collaborates with the Community Programs Supervisor to plan and implement all seasonal camps.
• Evaluates Kids Club Program Leads, Assistant Program Leads and Student Workers.
• Develops and implements the marketing strategy for programs to include all media resources.
• Updates department website.
• Creates and maintains various forms of communication, including flyers, message boards, press releases, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum qualifications include two years of experience working in the capacity of a Site Program Leader.
• Prefer course work in childcare program.
• Must have combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the job.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Additional Qualifications Needed Prior to First day of Work
• Must have working knowledge of childcare, daycare, or state licensing requirements.
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proof of immunizations against measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, and pertussis or able to obtain immunizations.
• Ability to pass background and reference check as stipulated by District standards.
• Must provide a valid Arizona driver’s license.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is regularly required to perform the following duties:
• Frequent communication with parents, students, and staff including the exchange of accurate information.
• Frequent interaction with students by bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles, bending legs at knee to come to rest on knees, or sitting on the floor requiring to resume an upright position.
• Moving about on foot and remaining on one’s feet in an upright position while supervising student(s).
• Raising or lowering an object from one level ranging from 25-50 lbs.
• Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves away from the force or towards the force.
• Ascending and descending small ladder with agility.
• Required to have visual acuity to perform activities with student(s).
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-Time Position - 12 months, Monday - Friday 8 hours a day.
SALARY CLASSIFICATION: Appropriate salary placement on the Classified Hourly Salary Schedule.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated by Site Administrator and according to District Policy.
Min & Max Starting Salary: $19.96 - DOE
