Senior Manager- Fire Protection Engineering - Las Vegas, NV
Company Overview: A leading engineering firm specializing in fire protection services is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead their Las Vegas office's operations. This role offers significant potential for career advancement within a well-established and supportive environment.

Job Summary: Our client is looking for a seasoned fire protection engineer to oversee the Las Vegas office's operations. The ideal candidate will be a registered fire protection engineer (PE) or an engineer in training nearing PE certification, ready to step into a leadership role immediately. This position offers the potential to advance to regional director within three years and eventually ascend to a VP role.
Key Responsibilities
• Technical Work (50%): Oversee and participate in technical fire protection engineering projects, ensuring high standards and compliance with regulations.
• Operations Management (25%): Manage day-to-day operations of the Las Vegas office, including supervision of three direct reports (junior to mid-intermediate level).
• Business Development (25%): Drive business growth by developing new client relationships and expanding existing ones.
Leadership And Advancement
• Immediate leadership position with potential advancement within the next 12 months.
• Opportunity to progress to regional director within three years and VP role in the future.
• Collaborate with the finance manager to oversee the P&L for the Las Vegas office.
Qualifications
• Registered Fire Protection Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training nearing PE certification.
• Mid to senior-level experience in fire protection engineering.
• Experience in fire code consulting.
• Performance-based design and fire modeling experience is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of technical excellence and operational management.
• Strong potential for growth and leadership in the engineering field.
