Requirements
You Might Be the Perfect Fit if You:
• Are able to pass a background check, have a High School Diploma, and hold at least one of the following qualifications: a Technical Certificate of Credit in early childhood education, a Specialist degree or PhD, a Paraprofessional Certificate issued by the GaPSC, a Master's degree in any field, a Georgia teacher certificate, a CDA credential, and a Bachelor's or Associate degree in any field.
• Have genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances.
• Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.

Responsibilities
Your Role as a Pre-K Assistant Teacher:
We are seeking passionate educators like YOU to assist the GA Pre-K Lead Teacher oversee classroom activities, adhering to standards set by GA Dept of Early Care and Learning , and aligning with the objectives of the current GA Pre-K Curriculum. In this supportive role, you'll contribute to creating a nurturing and positive atmosphere for children and their families, helping to forge strong, supportive relationships. Your involvement will be crucial in assisting with the planning and implementation of learning experiences that promote various developmental domains, such as physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive abilities, and creative expression. You'll also play a key role in observing and assessing the children's development, aiding in the customization of curriculum to meet the unique needs of each child . By joining our team as an assistant teacher, you'll be an integral part of our mission to guide young learners, ensuring a future filled with endless possibilities.
