Risk Management Analyst
Job Description
The Risk Management Analyst is responsible for the compilation of underwriting information, assisting with claims administration oversight and investigation, issuing certificates, and surety bond administration.
Reports to: Vice President – Risk Management
Direct Reports: None
Duties/Responsibilities: The duties listed below are an outline of the Analyst’s responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list. As the needs of the organization change, these duties may be modified as needed.
• Compile and analyze renewal and claims data to support insurance placements.
• Liaise with brokerage teams as needed.
• Perform data and risk analysis.
• Review quotes, binders, endorsements, policies, and audits for accuracy.
• Manage the invoice payment process for all placements, fees, and claims billings.
• Manage the timely issuance of insurance certificates.
• Maintain updated Statement of Values, Auto Schedules, and other underwriting data throughout the year.
• Review insurance provisions in vendor contracts.
• Assist in deploying and managing Risk Control Programs.
• Administration of Surety Bonds, both placement and releases.
• Occasional travel may be necessary as needed.
• Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Real Estate, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in risk analysis or management.
• Georgia Property and Casualty license preferred.
• Associate in Risk Management “ARM” designation preferred.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills as you work to collect data and deliver results internally across the organization.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite of services, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proactive attitude geared towards efficiency and improvement of processes as company and responsibilities grow.

• Travel: Up to 5% (occasional travel to the Atlanta office or travel to a conference may be required).
