OFFICE/ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT COMPANY PROFILE Communities Southwest, a privately held real estate investment and development company is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, with a primary focus on investment within the Phoenix Metro market. We have been successfully involved in real estate investment for over 30 years. We are currently seeking an individual for a permanent, full-time position. Office/Accounting Assistant duties and responsibilities  Performing minor accounting and bookkeeping duties. Includes bank reconciliations, bank deposits, accounts payable.  Overseeing clerical tasks, such as sorting and sending mail  Keeping an inventory of office/break room supplies and ordering new items as needed  Maintaining electronic files, including scanning documents to be filed  Welcoming visitors to the office  Answering phone calls, taking and delivery of messages  Ensuring the office runs smoothly  Scheduling meetings and sending meeting invites to attendees  Coordinating travel arrangements and create trip itineraries.  Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software to prepare reports and/or special projects. Office/Accounting Assistant Skills and Qualifications  Knowledge of Excel  10 key by touch  Time management and ability to meet deadlines  Excellent verbal and written communication skills  Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask  Problem-solving and decision-making skills  Skilled in use of standard office equipment (e.g., copiers, scanners, business telephone systems, projectors)  Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision  Strong interpersonal skills  Ability to treat confidential information with appropriate discretion  Exceptional attention to detail  Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Office/Accounting Assistant Minimum Requirements  High School Diploma or associate’s degree  Experience with light bookkeeping such as bank reconciliations, accounts payables/receivables  Experience as an office assistant or in related field  Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary  Warm personality with strong communication skills  Valid Driver’s License Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person
