Advanced Practice Provider – Cardiac Surgery – Athens, GA
Piedmont Heart Institute is recruiting for a Physician Assistant to join the Cardiac team in Athens, Georgia. This role will provide excellent patient care to our surgical patients. This opportunity includes a four-day work week with some weekend coverage and an average of one night of call per week.
In this role you will:
• Round on postop patients
• First assist on call cardiac cases
• See inpatient consults
• Call/round is 1:5 weekends
• Manage ICU patients
• Provide office consults one day per week with a designated surgeon
• EVH and chest closure in the OR
• Thoracentesis and chest tube insertion and care

Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have 1-2 years of cardiac surgery/EVH experience and intraoperative cardiothoracic surgery experience.
Masters, Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
