Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team at KNZ Solutions. This internship offers a valuable opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting while contributing to meaningful projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliations
• Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and providing assistance as needed
• Assist with tax compliance activities, including sales tax filings and income tax provision calculations
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned by the accounting team
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
