Job Details Duration: 6+ months
Location: MN-Golden Valley, Hybrid 3-4 days on site
Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will join Turnberry's Business Transformation practice. Turnberry's Business Transformation practice is dedicated to diagnosing and addressing core business challenges including regulatory compliance, full-scale implementation, managing change and driving continuous improvement across transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Design solutions to realize operational opportunities especially in complex areas requiring a high level of business systems expertise
Deliver significant improvements in accuracy and efficiency through collaboration
Lead the creation of processes, applications, and models essential to successfully delivering on operational objectives
Oversee monitoring of regulations, new product offerings, and changes to existing product for impacts to business systems team responsibilities and the creation and/or implementation of new system requirements needed to update impacted applications and processes
Ensure adherence to the quality control process
Responsible for the training and development of individuals
Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant technical and/or business experience
Four-year degree required: Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field; or specialized training or equivalent work experience
Comprehensive technical skills at an expert level in the areas of: Insurance product features and mechanics; Programming concepts (XML, json, java); Knowledge of ACORD standards; Microsoft Excel functionality including Visual Basic for Applications; eApplication Platforms: Zinnia (AN4 & AMP), iPipeline (Affirm), Hexure (FireLight); Relevant regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in insurance industry operation or system support role
The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $160,000 or the hourly equivalent.
