Job Title: Assistant Teacher and Aide Position Type: Full-time and Part-time Days of Work: Monday through Friday Hours of Work: 6:0am – 6:00pm (Flexibility on hours) Wage: $12 - $15 per hour (depending on qualifications) Start Date: As soon as possible Kids X-Cel Center is a play-based early learning center that is passionate about teaching children ages six weeks to kindergarten. We are looking for teachers who have a genuine love for children and a commitment to high quality care and education. Someone who will hug, teach, play, engage, and provide a nurturing environment for every child. Job Description Ensure the safety and health of all children. Provide a nurturing and positive learning environment. Implement the curriculum and develop lesson plans and activities that meet each child’s developmental needs. Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Ensure Kids X-Cel Center’s Child Care Program Plan is implemented at all times. Complete daily records for each child enrolled. Communicate with families on a daily basis. Ensure daily opening and closing checklists are completed. Attend professional and personal development trainings. Qualifications Must meet the Minnesota Department of Humans Services (DHS) qualifications of a Teacher or Assistant Teacher. Experience and education are required. Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Strong communication and organizational skills.
