Nuvera’s state-of-the-art fiber network provides reliable and affordable residential internet service through both fiber-to-the neighborhoods and newly expanding Gig-speed fiber-to-the-home services. Nuvera also provides business services including fiber internet, voice, hosting, and managed services. Nuvera has customer solution centers in the Minnesota communities of New Ulm, Glencoe, Goodhue, Hutchinson, Litchfield, Redwood Falls, Prior Lake, Sleepy Eye, and Springfield as well as Aurelia Iowa. A NOC Technician monitors a complex network of components consisting of network equipment, and telecom equipment. Along with provisioning, diagnosing, and resolving network, telecom, and customer issues. Collaborating with our technical support, telecom, IT, field service, and sales teams to enhance our network's performance. Working with customers and service providers to resolve issues. Position Hours: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. Four; 10-hour days Monday to Thursday. The position will include: Monitoring network devices, interfaces, and applications Creating, tracking, and escalating incident tickets Provisioning, configuring, and updating telecommunication network equipment and Nuvera-provided customer premise equipment Troubleshooting telecommunication network equipment and Nuvera-provided customer premise equipment Providing technical customer support Providing a high level of support to internal teams Issuing initial outage notification events as directed and managing the events Providing backup to dispatch services Keeping informed of advancements in network and telecom infrastructure and technologies The following skills and experience are preferred: 2-year degree (computer related) 4 years of technical experience Technical certifications desirable To apply by May 31, 2024, please visit our website: nuvera.net/about-us/careers/ Nuvera is an EOE.
