Overview
General Description
The Director of Education collaborates with the HR, IT, operational, clinical and compliance teams to identify, develop and implement educational initiatives for the benefit of the company, clinicians and the patients we serve. This position provides support to the licensed professionals to enable them to effectively perform their clinical duties and adhere to Regulatory Guidelines.
Reports To : Vice President of Clinical Strategies
Salary Range : $70-$75K
Responsibilities
Principal Responsibilities and Duties :
• Develop Documentation Training Tools and revise based on industry regulations and guidelines
• Manage Webinars. Must be able to work both independently and well in a team environment to create webinars that encourage high engagement and ensure consistency of message
• Collaborate on Clinical Tools and Webinars in regards to Documentation, ICD-10 coding, CPT coding and other compliance risk areas
• Collaborate with HR, Operations, Clinical Strategies and QAC team members to ensure consistent and compliant training throughout HealthPRO-Heritage
• LMS/CEU 360 Management Lead with responsibility shared with IT/HR.
• Annual and New Hire Orientation Auditing and Reporting (HR manage process, VP of ed Audit)
• Incorporate HealthPRO-Heritage Clinical Pathways and Frameworks into Compliance Training
• Partner with QAC, Clinical Strategies and IT on Documentation and Billing therapy EMR platforms
• Collaborate with the Core Regulatory Committee on education strategy of new regulatory regulations. Publish Regulatory Alerts/Publications with a focus on clinician impact
• Develop work plans for each new education initiative
• Analyze current educational practices and implement new goals and objectives to address educational needs
• Identify educational needs by region based on operational, clinical and compliance metrics and collaborate with regional teams to determine compliance risk and appropriate education strategy
• Partner with QA & Denials team to monitor Payor utilization shifts and determine compliance risk
• Review audit feedback and outcomes from Rehab Director/Program Manager audit training calls
• Develop competency assessments with HR for each compliance focus area
• Meet with HR, QAC and Operational Managers regularly to identify educational needs,review current educational initiatives and revise as needed
• Participate in weekly QAC calls as needed and share feedback with Clinical team
• Collaborate to ensure consistent communication to the field regarding all tools and educational materials
• Maintain and manage Documentation Success FB page and other educational platforms
• Collaborate with QAC, Operational and Clinical Strategies teams to identify, create and implement educational materials across service lines to include Hospitals, Outpatient and Pediatrics
• Monitor QAC request form in partnership with QAC designee
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive database or tracking system for access to changes in state regulations, ensuring timely dissemination of information to relevant stakeholders within the organization. Ensure LMS is updated timely to meet all state requirements for education.
• Serve as a liaison between the organization and external regulatory bodies if necessary to clarify educational requirements, fostering effective communication channels to address inquiries, seek clarifications, and proactively address any potential compliance issues.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required :
• Associate’s Degree in an allied health field, Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree or a Master’s Degree.
• Valid professional license in the state(s) where services are rendered, when
• Five or more years of experience, with two or more years of experience in a supervisory capacity in long-term care or sub-acute care preferred.
• Proven leadership skills in the healthcare field. Knowledge of and ability to perform skills related to management, planning, budgeting and
