Minnesota Valley Testing Laboratories, Inc. is a diversified analytical and agricultural testing laboratory. MVTL operates in three Midwestern states, while serving clients nationally and internationally. MVTL currently has an opening for a Chemist in our New Ulm Inorganic Laboratory. Responsibilities include: Shared responsibility for overall operations of the metal digestion area. Conduct analysis on a variety of matrices including waters, wastewaters, sludges, soils, and foods to determine elemental concentration. Troubleshoots, maintains and sets-up laboratory instrumentation including ICP-OES, ICP-MS, and mercury analyzer. Reviews and interprets and evaluates results for quality and accuracy. Follows established SOP’s, develops and implements new methods as needed. Our ideal candidate will possess a BS in chemistry or equivalent. MVTL is an equal opportunity employer.
