Please visit https://heavyindustrysolutions.halton.com for more information. Summary: The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing a variety of Human Resource functions/services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives. Responsible for recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; administering talent assessments; assisting managers on candidate selection; coordination of temp services as needed. Generation of payroll according to company schedule in addition to special pay runs Coordinates a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys Acts as a liaison for employees/managers and supervisors regarding corrective action issues to maintain organizational consistency Coordination of time and attendance of hourly employees as well as maintenance of the points system Acts as benefit liaison between company, employees and assigned brokers and/or third-party vendors Coordination of medical leaves and appropriate application to FMLA and STD Coordinates employee training programs and executes training documentation and retention as it relates to HR initiatives Responsible for employee relations, including performance evaluations and corrective actions as well as development plans Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions Ensures compliance with legal and corporate guidelines, including the writing and execution of policies, procedures, and company regulatory manuals Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations as well as required annual reporting Handle injury reporting according to Workers Comp and OSHA guidelines Coordination of safety initiatives with Manufacturing Manager, maintain first aid supply inventory Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars, as required. Maintains employee files (personnel, benefits, and workers comp) Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed. Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database and provides monthly feedback via departmental scorecard Coordination of company activities/events Ability to work with Global HR Team and coordinate with Global HR database Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience 5 to 7 years’ experience in Human Resources Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Related Field (degree may be waived and substituted for years of experience above and beyond the 5 to 7 years required) Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to multi-task and take on various projects as business needs change Experience with Microsoft Office Products Professional and effective communication skills are a must
