Assembly Maintenance Technician-Piedmont, SC Starting pay: $27.95-34 per hour DOE These positions are on 2nd shift-2p-10p or 3rd shift 10p-6a PLC and Robotic experience required. Must be multi craft, mechanical, electrical, etc. Metal stamping plant using Kuka and Fanuc robots and Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC's. Role Summary Purpose and Responsibility of the Position: Assembly Maintenance Technician will provide technical support for production and carry out the assignments and responsibilities given to them by the Assembly Maintenance Supervisors and Team Leaders. Important Responsibilities-Assembly Maintenance Technician Generally speaking, achieving equipment availability targets will ensure that departmental OEE targets are met. Other tasks might consist of, but not be limited to: Assembly Maintenance Technician Using hand tools and power tools, adjust, maintain, and repair the machinery used in the manufacture of automobiles. problematic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and other parts are replaced together with disassembling problematic equipment. Equipment repairs are tested, adjusted, and reassembled. The capacity of the maintenance technician to operate the equipment outside of production hours while creating high-quality parts to confirm machine performance is part of the equipment testing process. may have a focus on fixing both equipment that is specific to the production process and equipment that is not. Making adjustments to sustain uptime, increase the effectiveness and dependability of the equipment and its systems. control alterations made by internal and external resources for new models, expansion, and process adjustments. To record the specifics of equipment-related concerns, repairs completed, Preventative and Predictive Maintenance procedures taken, etc., use computerized or manual Maintenance Information Systems. To ensure a proper production run, modify parts and machines as needed. basic robotics robot troubleshooting. basic troubleshooting of electrical circuits. To assist root cause analysis for failures leading to significant downtime (as determined by management), employ manual or digital systems. Put steps in place to stop recurrence both inside the impacted business unit and throughout the facility after the main cause has been determined. Depending on the needs for productivity, quality, or safety, optimize, upgrade, or change the equipment. In order to ensure that problems are found and fixed, interface with all essential IBU associates, such as production supervision, etc. Communicate with the production crew generally.) Make sure to order new components or return used parts to the appropriate stock location. When necessary, update verification forms. On the assembly line and in the shop, maintain appropriate hygiene. shifts may need to be rotated. carry out other tasks as directed.
