Juniper, the Beautiful Rooftop Restaurant, located atop AC Hotel by Marriott Greenville Downtown is looking to hire energetic, experienced and friendly Food & Beverage Servers whose personalities match the energy of Juniper! Our Food & Beverage Servers help to ensure the overall success of our hotel by not just meeting but exceeding our guests' expectation for excellent service. Essential Job Functions Ensuring guest satisfaction, through friendly interaction with our guests and attention to detail when serving our guests. Taking responsibility for setting workstations prior to opening, and cleaning at the end of shift, to prepare stations for next day. Learning all menu items, their garnish, contents and preparation methods, answering guest questions regarding such with confidence and accuracy. Greeting guests promptly at table and utilizing suggestive selling techniques. Monitoring dishes before serving, to make sure quality, appearance and temperature are correct. Sharing information about the property and the downtown area in response to guest inquiries. Experience/Education High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
