We are a regional security company seeking a security patrol officer to work part-time shifts at one of our Pre-Schools. Specific Duties and Essential Functions Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Qualifications: · A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. · Able to work flexible hours. · Minimum 1 ½ years’ experience in security preferred, but on-site training is provided. · Ability to follow oral and written instructions. · Must be able to be at work ON TIME. · Must be able to speak, read and write English to communicate effectively with stakeholders. · Ability to cooperate with other employees. · Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis. · Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance after the training period is completed, and do so without injury to oneself or other individuals. · Must be able to fully understand and complete all In-Services. Additional Requirements: · Must be able to stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
