Director of Learning and Development
As leader of the company’s Learning & Development strategy, this individual will seek out, investigate, and create solutions which support new hire training, continuing education, and next level preparation of the workforce. This person will combine practical experience, business intuition, analysis, and stakeholder feedback to identify needed improvements in the hiring, training, and development processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead implementation of strategies to improve workforce retention, performance, and succession planning.
• Lead Learning & Development teams and deploy resources as needed.
• Evaluate results of learning programs through performance metrics, surveys and testing and make recommendations for improvement or implementation.
• Responsible for planning, developing, and organizing, and overseeing training programs for: Financial Service Representatives and Branch Managers
• Responsible for planning, developing, and organizing, and overseeing training programs for: New Hires and Continuing/Remedial Education
• Ensure a consistent approach to both onboarding new hires and the continued development of team members.
• Partner with stakeholders in other departments, including Human Resources, Operations, IT, Analytics, etc.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

• Proven experience of leading cross functional multi-site operational initiatives.
Education and/or Experience:
• 5+ years experience as a leader in Training, Learning and Development, or Communications.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position & operate a computer and other office machinery.
• This person may need to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, machinery, etc.
• Occasionally may require light lifting to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
• Office environment.
• Occasional travel may be required.
