Job Summary
As a recognized technical engineering expert, you will provide pivotal solutions to complex problems and lead project teams in the design, implementation, and launch of innovative products. Your expertise will not only drive the success of our business unit but also extend across the organization, influencing cross-functional teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the engineering team with expert-level technical guidance throughout product development and design phases.
• Drive research and development by exploring advanced technologies, keeping abreast of industry trends, and initiating research projects.
• Serve as a technical lead and mentor, offering expertise across the product lifecycle, from concept to fielded product.
• Oversee prototype development, evaluating design, functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Deliver development, unit, and tooling cost estimations, ensuring products meet rigorous specification requirements.
• Conduct technical feasibility evaluations, qualification, and testing to ensure design compliance.
• Address post-launch technical issues, ensuring effective resolution and compliance with corrective actions.
Education And Experience Requirements
• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a preference for a specialization relevant to the role.
• At least 10 years of engineering experience, demonstrating technical expertise in motor controllers, wireless controls, permanent magnet and brushless DC motors, switch mode power designs, and embedded C programming.
• Proven background in the design, evaluation, and testing of electronic/electrical circuits and components.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
• Demonstrated expertise in engineering project management from concept to execution.
• Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and guiding engineers across multiple business units.
• Expert-level proficiency in relevant product/process development.
• Goal-oriented, innovative, and able to tackle technical challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage complex technical and project management overviews.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.
