Trauma Registrar- Full Time
Performs all functions of case finding, abstraction, database maintenance, report production, and patient follow-up for the trauma registry.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Minimum of Associate Degree in health-related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Entry level - no experience required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :
N/A.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
 RN licensure preferred.
 Certified Specialist in Trauma Registry (CSTR) preferred.
 One year experience in medical coding in a hospital setting is preferred.
 Work experience of at least two years with strong emphasis on data integrity and analysis is preferred.
