The EPIC Analyst works across departments to leverage the EPIC practice management and EHR system to meet the needs of the affiliate for clinical services and patient privacy, appointment scheduling, revenue cycle management, and reporting. The EPIC Analyst is the primary liaison with the affiliate’s managed service organization, BetterHealth (BH), and leads a cross functional workgroup of Epic stakeholders within the affiliate.
Schedule
Full-Time position working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday. Hours may vary between 9AM and 6PM. Hybrid Work Style; 20% Travel throughout affiliate service area of SC, NC, and VA.

What You'll Do
• Responsible for ensuring affiliate, primarily Epic stakeholders, and end users stay up to date on any Epic maintenance and updates.
• Collaborate with Training Team to ensure training curriculum and on-line resources and support provided to staff are up to date prior to implemented changes.
• Responsible for maintaining the affiliate training environment as a copy of the production environment.
• Ensure Epic stakeholders and the affiliate in general is utilizing Epic to its fullest potential by having a general understanding of each stakeholders needs, and how their operations/work interface with the system.
• Identifies opportunities for increases in system and workflow efficiency related to the use of Epic.
• Serve as the resident EPIC subject matter expert and resource for Epic stakeholders for troubleshooting, creating workflows, and general questions.
• Act as the affiliate’s primary liaison with BetterHealth ensuring stakeholders and end users are being fully supported by each of BetterHealth’s Epic service areas.
• Lead the Epic cross functional workgroup by tracking and analyzing the agreed upon metrics, setting the meeting frequency and agenda, and assigning work as necessary.
• Closely monitor the BetterHealth shared resource site, Epicenter, and other communications from BetterHealth, for new information and determine best way to communicate and share with affiliate.
• Attend or ensure affiliate representation at BetterHealth meetings and workgroups.
• Identifies optimization and system expansion opportunities available within BetterHealth to bring to the affiliate steering committee and stakeholders.
• Responsible for reporting to and collaborating with the Epic Steering Committee regarding strategic and significant decisions and initiatives related to Epic. May lead other IT focused projects and initiatives.
• Work in close partnership with Clinical Leadership and Patient Services Operation in building, revising, and evaluating system personalization tools and workflows.
• Responsible for configuration and workflow related to billing needs.
• Collaborate with the Director of Revenue Cycle to ensure available charge codes and fee schedules are appropriate to affiliate payors and service costs.
• Coordinate with BetterHealth to create forms in system for electronic signature.
• Collaborate with IT in new user access, provisioning, and deprovisioning.
• Perform necessary testing in advance of system migrations and updates.
• Ensure CarePath configuration meets affiliate needs and Medical Standards & Guidelines requirements, partnering with Epic stakeholders as needed.
• Collaborate with affiliate scheduling SMEs to set up and maintain appointment scheduling templates.
• In partnership with the cross functional workgroup and the IT department establish the triage protocol, and owners of tickets.
• Provide help desk support on Epic use and ancillary equipment to all end users.
• Troubleshoot with affiliate stakeholders and/or vendors as issues arise.
• Coordinate with the necessary PPSAT Affiliate Service Liaisons (ASLs) to ensure the timely submission of and follow up on BetterHealth service tickets.
• Build custom EHR reports as needed.
• Collaborate with compliance on data audit requirements and processes.
What You'll Bring To The Role
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Information Technology.
• Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR). EPIC experience is a BONUS!
• Knowledgeable of IT support tools such as CITRIX Go To Assist.
• End user application support experience.

Compensation
PPSAT's compensation philosophy is based on equity and transparency. Each job at PPSAT is assigned a salary grade built on market data. For an individual coming into PPSAT, we set a pay generally between the minimum and the midpoint of the salary grade and based on candidate qualifications. The pay range for this position is $68,000.00 to $86,700.00 paid annually.
