Senior Mechnical Engineer- Piping and Utlity
TekGarden Recruiting is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer- Piping and Utility to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing piping and utility systems for various projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficiency, reliability, and safety of piping and utility systems.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer- Piping and Utility, you will play a crucial role in the design and optimization of piping, plumbing, and utility systems. Your expertise in mechanical engineering principles, industry standards, and project management will contribute to the success of our projects. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and infrastructure development.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop piping and utility systems based on project requirements and specifications
• Conduct calculations, simulations, and hydraulic analysis to ensure efficient and effective system performance
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of piping and utility systems in building designs
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for piping and utility systems
• Conduct piping and utility systems testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and support staff
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in piping and utility systems
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, concepts, and best practices
• Proficiency in using piping design software and hydraulic analysis tools
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes, such as ASME and API
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Project management experience with the ability to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget
