Controls Application Specialist
Job Description
• Provide applied engineering and technical consultation while leading the development of customer solutions, in system design, system integration, and implementation and support of Lighting control system projects.
• Develop presentation tools and provide technical training for groups of various size and skill levels inside as well as outside the organization.
• Ability to read and interpret construction specifications, construction documents, and electrical schematics.
• Collaborate on software development projects with engineering, system designers, and sales.
• Incorporate user-defined needs and feedback into application designs and demonstrations.
Qualifications
• Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering or other relevant technical discipline
• Application Engineering work experience for 2-5 years
• Experience in deploying, optimizing and maintaining software
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%
• History of analytical and technical problem solving
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Good technical writing skills
• Must be a self-starter and capable of working either alone or as part of a team.
Preferred
• 2+ years Background in Lighting controls or other control background preferably in the built environment
Compensation
The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is 60,000-80,000
