ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Responsible for ensuring safe operating conditions and for ensuring safe work behaviors at the Foxy Road location.
• Directly leads the Foxy Road location shipping operations and the Metal Fabrication operations to ensure that business goals are achieved.
• Print and sort pack slips.
• Keep attendance records.
• Supervises and provides work direction for all employees at the Foxy Road location.
• Responsible for personnel staffing needs in all Foxy location departments to ensure that work is produced in a prescribed time frame in accordance with company standards. This includes cross training of employees within their normal assigned departments and between Packing, Shipping, and Metal Fabrication.
• Assist in the training, development, motivation, disciplinary action, and discharge of employees.
• Responsible for overseeing the Returns Procedures.
• Coordinate activities with all production support departments so that a smooth flow continues in the manufacturing process.
• Responsible to enforce all corporate policies and procedures.
• Responsible for training in the packaging area.
• Oversees packaging distributor orders and marine accessory manufacturing, kan ban maintenance and shipment.
• Keeps up with customer requirements and changes and keeps employees up to date according to these changes.
• Assist with daily reports and invoicing.
• If workload allows, work on floor in all locations of warehouse and metal fabrication operations.
• Schedule all outbound LTL shipments as required.
• Responsible for making sure all items removed from the warehouse are issued to the floor immediately at the Foxy location.
• Oversee the refilling of the frame related Kanbans in a timely manner, including priority setting and determination of overtime requirements.
• Review all kan ban levels periodically to maintain proper quantities.
• Responsible for performing weekly cycle counts on time at the Foxy location including the appropriate follow up to count corrections deemed significant.
• All other duties assigned by the Manager.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide ongoing feedback to employees regarding work performance and feedback to management on issues of relevance.
• Act as a liaison between employee and Human Resources with regard to personnel issues, benefits, payroll and incentives.
Skills Required
• Read, write and speak English.

• Able to Multi-Task.
• Ability to be trained on forklift if necessary.
Previous Work Experience
• 3 to 4 years prior experience in a warehouse.
• Hands on experience with drilling, cutting, and bending operations.
• Experience as a lead person or previous supervisory experience required.
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Must be able to stand, walk or sit for entire shift.
• Must be able to work in moderate noise levels.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to bend, reach, twist, stoop, squat and grasp with hands.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience and/or on the job experience.
