JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER in Greenville, SC . The SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER is responsible for managing projects that develop the necessary sewer infrastructure to sustain our community and growing economy.
Responsibilities of a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER includes :
• with public entities, governmental councils, and commissions to discuss upcoming or ongoing sewer infrastructure initiatives.
• professional engineering tasks encompassing the planning and design of internal engineering projects.
• guidance and oversight for both internal and external engineering endeavors, particularly in the design of wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities.
• various project documents including studies, models, cost estimates, and design plans to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
• in the strategic planning of future wastewater facilities and contributing to the implementation of capital improvement plans.
• technical support and troubleshooting assistance to departmental staff regarding sewer equipment, processes, and construction activities.
• and reviewing plans and specifications developed by external consultants to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• project status through diligent record-keeping and communication within the Project Management System database.
• agreements, reports, and correspondence related to engineering projects and engaging with stakeholders as necessary.
• in-house design tasks for existing wastewater facilities and system extensions or enhancements.
REQUIRED Experience and Education:
• degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Engineer registration in the state of South Carolina or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• fifteen (15) years of engineering experience, including project management and overseeing technical work.
• in mentoring other personnel is desired.
