Tugger Operator (3rd shift)
Job Description
We are seeking Warehouse Tugger Operators to work to join our growing fortune 500 Recycling Management team! We have openings on 3rd shift and hours are 7:30 PM - 6:10 AM and will starting at $16/hr. Your position will focus on safe and efficient movement of products and materials.
NOTE: This position is in the BMW plant in Greer, SC. There are multiple businesses in this facility, in order to be considered for this position you have to be able to badge at this location. If you worked here previously, you have to had left on good terms (2 week notice with any companies there) in order to be considered to come back to this location!
Overview:
• Night Shift: 7:30 PM - 6:10 AM Monday-Friday!
• Pay $16 an hour, to be hired on at a higher rate.
• Gathering and sorting various types of material for recycling throughout the plant.
• May be required to drive a tugger around the plant.
• Working on the sorting line, sorting cardboard from other materials for recycling. The sorting line requires standing, walking and climbing stairs.
• Work with another team member(s) breaking down and baling large cardboard boxes and baling plastic tray and plastic sheeting.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Receives and processes incoming and outgoing orders.
• Verifies contents of orders against tickets or receipts.
• Sorts packages according to appropriate distribution channels.
• Pulls orders from the warehouse.
• Maintains work area in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
• Must be able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.
