We dairy you!Agropur’s US operations produce approximately 1 billion pounds of quality, award winning cheese each year.  The US operations produce more than 20 different cheese varieties along with whey protein and dry ingredients.What Agropur offers YOU:Competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits package focusing on your physical, financial and emotional health to include the following perks as well as the standard benefit offerings:Pay increases after 6 and 12 months of employment401(k) Retirement Plan with up to a 7% company matchPaid Time Off (available on day 1)Paid holidays and 2 floating holidaysPaid parental leaveTuition Reimbursement ProgramEmployee DiscountsBonus ProgramWellness resources to help you stay fit and wellInternal Advancement Opportunities for both lateral and promotional growthLeadership Development and Mentorship ProgramsOpportunities to support our local communitiesDiversity, Equity and Inclusion CommitteesChance to apply best practices in sustainability and environmental initiativesCommitment to producing high quality nutritious products and providing nourishment around the world What this role is all about:We are looking for a Welder/Fabricator I in Le Sueur, Minnesota.The Welder/Fabricator I fabricates, modifies and makes repairs to equipment, components and structures.What you need:Perform daily welding requests to repair process equipment, parts and other welding needs.Make runs of sanitary food grade piping from start to finish.Fabricate and weld a variety of parts, brackets, trays hangers, etc.Safely utilize all shop tools and equipment associated with the welding trade.Manage and maintain the necessary supplies and materials used in this job function.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues.Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and complete required documentation.Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.Basic math plus fractions, decimals and percentages, as well as algebraic calculations.Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.Ability to apply logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships.Education Required:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Experience Required:Minimum one (1) year of related welding experience and/or training required.Experience welding stainless and making food-grade repairs preferred.Experience welding with stick welder to make a variety of repairs in horizontal, vertical and overhead preferred.Experience reading and understanding blueprints preferred.Where you'll be working:Our presence in Le Sueur, MN, consists of the following locations: Le Sueur Cheese, Le Sueur Ingredients, Le Sueur Protein Research Center, and Le Sueur Business Office. Our cheese facility produces various types of cheese, including cheddar, Monterey Jack, Asiago, Fontina, Parmesan and Romano. Our ingredients facility runs various whey streams, including; whey protein isolate (WPI), whey protein concentrate 34 (WPC 34), whey protein concentrate 80 (WPC 80) and both pharma and food-grade lactose.Agropur’s US operations produce 1 billion pounds of quality, award-winning cheese each year. We create more than 20 different varieties, and also provide whey protein and dry ingredients which are by-products of the cheesemaking process.
