About the Division of Speech Pathology:
Our specialists in the Division of Speech-Language Pathology believe it’s their job to create a positive atmosphere in which a child can learn to enjoy communication. We have the largest and one of the best programs in the nation. Our highly trained experts focus on personalized care, demonstrating our commitment to the best outcome for your child.
We begin with a comprehensive evaluation. Based on the evaluation results, an individualized treatment plan is developed for the child, with input from the family. In each case, the speech-language pathologist involves the family in the treatment process to ensure not only the best treatment outcomes, but also a high level of family satisfaction with the process. Our efforts are also directed toward making the therapy a positive and enjoyable experience for the child.
About the Open Job:
We are recruiting an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist who has interest and expertise in evaluation and treatment of dysphagia in infants, children, and adolescents with a range of medical complications. This position will include regular collaboration with medical professionals and requires experience in performing and interpreting video swallow studies in the outpatient setting.
Schedule:
40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Open to negotiating schedule, but also interested in some “family friendly” hours of 4pm and after.
Required Qualifications :
· Master's degree in speech-language pathology or communication sciences & disorders
· Active conditional or permanent license in speech-language pathology in the State of Ohio.
· Have Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) granted by American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Previous feeding/video swallow study experience is highly desired. (Clinical Fellowships are not being considered for this position.)
Pay : $31.50-47.00 per hour
Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
· Master's degree in speech-language pathology or communication sciences & disorders
·Active conditional or permanent license in speech-language pathology in the state of practice.
·Hold Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) granted by American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Preferred:
Feeding/VSS experience is highly desired.
