Summary
Join our dedicated team as a Service Coordination Supervisor, where you'll oversee a dynamic group of Resident Service Coordinators. This pivotal role, reporting to the Director of Service Coordination and Quality Assurance, involves leading planning and assignment of tasks, selecting and mentoring new hires, and fostering a collaborative environment that aligns with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Guide and evaluate the performance of service coordinators, ensuring compliance and effective time management.
• Conduct semi-annual reviews, offering constructive feedback and setting performance goals.
• Enforce adherence to our comprehensive policies and procedures.
• Update departmental manuals and ensure continuous improvement.
• Serve as a day-to-day leader, offering in-person and virtual support to your team.
• Oversee the onboarding process, collaborating with HR for a seamless integration of new staff.
• Address and resolve complex issues, maintaining strong relationships with customers and management.
• Contribute to audits, gather statistical data, and assist with corrective action plans.
• Manage staff timekeeping and PTO requests with accuracy and fairness.
• Influence departmental policies and budget considerations in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Organize and conduct productive virtual service coordinator meetings.
Skills And Abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Adobe Acrobat.
• Knowledgeable in health and social issues, particularly concerning the elderly and disabled.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with virtual office management and remote team leadership.
• A compassionate and professional approach to handling sensitive information and situations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This regional supervisory role involves strategic planning, task delegation, and performance oversight of a team, with a focus on optimizing operations and ensuring organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Nursing, or a related health field, or equivalent experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with County, State, and Federal regulations, including HUD guidance.
• Valid driver's license for meeting attendance and event participation.
