The Opportunity
The Dean of the Angell Snyder School of Business and DBA Program Director will have the opportunity to lead the development of a new strategic plan for the School in alignment with the University’s strategic plan and to reimagine the School’s advisory board. This position, reporting directly to the Provost, will be located at the Surprise, AZ residential campus, and will lead faculty and programs across the School located at all campuses. In addition, this position will direct our new Doctor of Business Administration program. The ideal start date is July 1, 2024.

Essential Functions Of The Job
• Continue and develop standards of excellence for the School through data-driven programs, curriculum assessment and development.
• Advocate for scholarship and intellectual engagement.
• Support student recruitment and retention.
• Explore and facilitate opportunities in related personnel development and build an exceptional group of core faculty.
• Manage the financial, intellectual, and material resources of the School as designated.
• Lead the DBA program.
Qualifications
• A terminal degree in a field related to the School of Business or a doctorate in higher education administration
• Five years of successful leadership experience at the chair, dean, or similar role
• Proven ability to effectively lead and manage personnel
• Proven leadership skills in collaborative organizations
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills

REQUIRED EDUCATION: (education based on essential job duties and requirements consistent with business necessity):
A terminal degree in a field related to the School or a Doctorate in higher education administration.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: ( experience based on requirements in role and are consistent with business necessity)
Five years of successful leadership experience at the chair, dean or similar role required.
