Job Title: Field Plumber

Job Summary
Lay out, assemble, install, maintain, repair piping, fixtures, carriers, and equipment associated with heating, cooling, water distribution, and sanitation systems commercial structures. Knowledge of drainage and other plumbing systems for compliance with local codes and regulations.
Essential Functions
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvents, caulking, soldering, brazing, Propressing.
• Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
• Review all plans for compliance with local plumbing code/ ADA requirements and review specifications and drawings to determine work details and procedures.
• Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers, lasers, and levels.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles, using hand and power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, and pipe-bending machines.
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, water heaters, and fixtures such as, but not limited to sinks and toilets, using hand and power tools.
• Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, using hand and power tools.
• Install underground storm, sanitary and water piping systems and extend piping to connect fixtures/equipment and plumbing to these systems.
• Install medical gas systems if certified and licensed.
• Install plumbing systems inside, outside, on the floor level, below grade, and in the ceiling.
• Follow health and safety standards.
• Must always put SAFETY FIRST.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to perform multiple tasks safely and with quality.
• Must be able to work inside and outside.
• Must understand construction terms.
• Knowledge of the piping system being installed (sanitary, storm, domestic water, steam, condensate, etc.).
• Must have reliable transportation and willing to go to jobsites in the areas we work.
• Must own all hand tools needed to perform as a plumber as described in WRN’s tool list.
• Have Knowledge of AHCA, where applicable.
• Must be able to read a submittal sheet too rough in for fixtures, carriers and equipment.
• Must be able to work at various heights above floor with ladder, scaffold, and manlift when required.
• Must be able to work in excavated trenches.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.

Job Requirements
• For consideration, candidates must 5 years of plumbing construction field experience along with having an aptitude of math, keen to details and takes pride of their work. A Journeyman’s license in the respected trade is a plus.
