The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for successful execution of defined project support tasks as allocated by the Director. The PM will lead as the logistical interface for strategic Current customers and ensure that customer commitments are being met through Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) and Order-to-Remittance (OTR). The PM will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Quotes, Lighting Design, Commercial Services, and Supply Chain leaders to provide an exceptional service experience for Current's largest and highly valued customers. Essential Responsibilities Manage all aspects of execution of a Key Account or from initial inquiry through warranty, ensuring all customer deliverables are completed on-time and within budget Perform data analysis as required to improve processes and gain efficiencies Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks Proactively monitor scope to ensure what was agreed to is delivered, unless changes are approved through scope management Collect metrics to give a sense for how the project is progressing and whether the deliverables produced are acceptable both internally and externally Maintain schedule to ensure work is assigned and completed per committed dates Manage and coordinate customer, contractor and supplier interfaces Establish and maintain project administrative files and records Provide document control support for customer and supplier submittals Monitor and analyze project financials (EBITDA) Collect spend information and analyze project costs Monitor progress and provide regular updates. Provide problem analysis and corrective action as needed Identify procedural weaknesses and help coordinate solutions Maintain focus on process improvement. Based on areas of poor execution or intensive manual work/re-work...analyze root cause and work cross functionally to develop options and implement (plus document) the best solutions. Provide program management to streamline project execution, enhance productivity, and drive standardization where appropriate. Utilize project management tools where appropriate. Prepare information and presentations for regular reports and project status meetings; present information to customer, team and internal leadership as needed Qualification Requirements Bachelor's degree from 4-year accredited university Prior experience with project-based work, customer fulfillment, and other commercial functions Prior experience working with and presenting to large scale customers Must be detail-oriented with superior organizational skills Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel Ability to effectively interface with internal and external customers at multiple organizational levels, including Senior Leadership Strong oral and written communication skills, including virtual and electronic communications Desired Characteristics MBA or equivalent Previous experience working with Salesforce, SAP, QuickBase, and/or other Project Management platforms Background in Continuous Lead (Enterprise Lean Sigma) Previous work experience in a Supply Chain role Understanding of basic contractual terms and conditions Working knowledge of business and financial fundamentals Prior experience and/or willingness to work virtually with team members that are not co-located Ability to coach and train new team members Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Compensation The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is $70,000-$86,000.
