The reaction product needs to be unparalleled driving pleasure - our vehicles' hallmark. The IT Business Systems Analyst: Supports IT collaboration and services in assigned area of responsibility. Steers Budget, Headcount, License Management, Quality Assurance, Audit, Business Process Modeling, Agile Methodologies, Project Steering, IT Service Continuity Management, Target Management, etc. Designs business processes and innovation change initiatives in partnership with the relevant local, global and/or central business departments. Facilitates delivery of IT services to process partners in assigned area of responsibility. Ensures strategic alignment with BMW Group core IT processes. Establishes strong partnerships with both business and IT process partners which culminates into the delivery of sustainable solutions to complex problems. Communicates with BMW colleagues continuously through direct communications and project results. Delivers on agreements with business and support functions in own area of responsibility. Performs duties and completes assignments with minimal direct supervision. Develops, maintains, and effectively manages client relationships at all levels across the organization. Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts inside both the IT and business organizations. Facilitates IT quality assurance checks and verifies that the projects are in full compliance with the BMW Information Technology Process. Works collaboratively with key stakeholders to define, communicate, and train Agile based principles. Identifies, investigates, and evaluates new and emerging technologies and standards that can be used to develop new and different strategic directions and processes for BMW IT and business functions. Acts as liaison with software vendors for efficient implementation of new software products or systems and for resolution of any issues. Challenges IT internal processes and partners to deliver sustainable productivity improvements using Agile methodologies. Analyzes existing and future planned initiatives, short, mid, and long- term planning with prioritization of requirements based on local and BMW Group strategy. Prepares, facilitates, and sustains the local business prioritization process and the input to the global prioritization process. Ensures effective systems change control, problem management, and incident management; thereby reducing risk, ensuring quality, and business continuity. Ensures the integrity, reliability, and reproduction of our internally and externally developed software products. Ensures the IT security and compliance of both planned systems as well as existing systems under operational control in own area. Develops and manages project plans to include defining deliverables, budget adherence, key milestones and critical paths. Reports and manages risks as well as progress of Lead Sagas, Sagas, Epics and User Stories in own area of responsibility. Manages efforts to design, develop, train, and deploy systems and procedures for assigned area of responsibility. Ensures target achievement is consistently attained in assigned area. Ensures that all aspects of information protection, data, and systems security pertaining to area of responsibility adhere to BMW Group Policies and architectures. Promotes the use of standard processes and solutions within own area of responsibility. Promotes and facilitates the use of the Agile methodology for all initiatives and tasks in own area of responsibility. Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving. Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles. BS Degree in IT or Computer Science preferred. 3+ years of experience of demonstrated success in IT or equivalent success in an IT related function. 2+ years of experience planning, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, implementing, operating, documenting and training of enterprise IT applications. 2+ years of experience in implementing/configuring IT systems. 2+ years of experience working in a customer service orientated environment. 2+ years of experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 2+ years of experience with a variety of programming languages (preferably C/ C++, Python,JAVA, HTML, JSP, J2EE, SQL, Oracle, UNIX/LINUX) preferred. 1+ years working in Agile projects(preferred).
