Responsibilities include:
• Perform placement of amalgam and composite restorations, ensuring accuracy and precision in dental procedures.
• Polish and finish amalgam and composite restorations, contributing to the overall quality of patient care.
• Operate standard dental equipment, maintaining proper functionality and adherence to safety protocols.
• Prepare for procedures, assisting dental professionals in delivering efficient and effective dental treatments.
• Coordinate patient intake, including vitals and radiographs, ensuring a smooth and organized patient experience.
What you need to succeed:
• Completion of a Dental Assisting program, along with a graduate of expanded duties course and Ohio State Dental Board Expanded Duties Dental Assistant license, ensuring you possess the necessary skills and qualifications for the role.
• 3-5+ years of dental assistant experience, demonstrating your proficiency and expertise in the field.
• Possession of an Ohio general operator's license in radiology (X-ray), enabling you to perform radiographic procedures safely and effectively.
• Professional and polished demeanor, with strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care.
• Strong computer skills, with experience in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
• Covid vaccination and flu shot required during cold/flu season, prioritizing the health and safety of patients and staff.
