Responsibilities include:
• Coordinate patient intake and preparation for exam functions in a constant, steady fashion, ensuring efficient patient flow and organization.
• Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis, contributing to the maintenance of oral hygiene and tooth health for patients of all ages.
• Take patient's vital signs and any radiographs needed for the exam, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring accurate diagnostic information.
• Conduct preliminary exam for dental decay, chart DMF teeth, and assess OHI, providing comprehensive dental assessments for effective treatment planning.
• Complete root planning and scaling procedures, apply topical fluoride, sealants, and conduct dental recall procedures for adults and children, promoting oral health and preventing dental issues.
What you need to succeed:
• Graduate of an ADA accredited dental hygiene school and licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist by the Ohio Board of Dental Examiners, ensuring you meet the educational and licensure requirements for the position.
• Possession of a general operator's license in Radiology, demonstrating your ability to perform radiographic procedures safely and effectively.
• 1-2 years of dental experience preferred, showcasing your familiarity with dental procedures and patient care.
• Professional and polished demeanor, with strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care.
• Strong computer skills, with experience in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
• Covid vaccination and flu shot required during cold/flu season, prioritizing the health and safety of patients and staff.
