Our client is an award winning, well respected General Contractor, specializing in Commercial, projects.
Due to rapid expansion of the business, they have a new and exciting vacancy for a Construction Project Manager to join their team, on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have at 5 years’ experience in ground up commercial projects.
They are a close-knit, supportive team who have a fantastic reputation and have a great pipeline of work, so now is the ideal time to join them.
Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day field operations, quality control, and verification of compliance with submittals.
• Lead a team of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers
• Participate in pre-construction scheduling, logistics, and planning.
• Manage several projects at one time, keeping high standards.
• Promote teamwork and open communication.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities to set standards for the team.
• Attend Senior Management meetings to discuss Profit/Loss, current project updates, and future projects.

Experience
• 5+ years of managing commercial construction Projects
• Ground-up or new construction experience
• Solid background in construction trades and technical knowledge
• Highly motivated and strong skills in time management and prioritization
• Experience managing all aspects of field management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
