Job Title/ Type of Pharmacy - Fulfillment and Data Entry Registered Pharmacy Technician for a Closed Door, Compounding facility
Position Overview: The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in the fulfillment of medication orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our client, and accurately inputting prescription and patient information into our pharmacy database to facilitate the fulfillment process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the fulfillment of medication orders, including accurate picking, packing, and labeling of prescriptions.
• Maintain inventory levels and perform regular stock checks to ensure adequate supply of medications.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to prioritize and complete daily tasks efficiently.
• Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Utilize pharmacy software systems to input and track prescription orders accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
• Enter prescription orders and patient information into the pharmacy database with precision and efficiency.
• Verify the accuracy of data entered and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Collaborate closely with pharmacists and other team members to prioritize and process orders in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients to obtain necessary information for order entry.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive patient information at all times.
• Assist with other pharmacy tasks as needed, including inventory management and customer service.
Pay: $18-$20/hr based on experience Schedule - 2nd shift M-F 4pm-12am
Licensing required - OH Pharmacy Technician State license required. PTCB or NHA would be a plus
Experience needed - Pharmacy background of 1+ years
