Atrium Medical Center - Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility
Occupational Therapist
• Full-Time - 7:00AM to 3:30PM
• 2 weekend days per month
The Occupational Therapist assumes a dynamic leadership role on the interdisciplinary patient care teams, specifically within our Inpatient Rehabilitation Department. This individual identifies patient care needs, develops a plan of care and goals in collaboration with the patient, provides a wide variety of treatment techniques within the scope of practice, provides education and support to patients/families, and facilitates continuing care planning.
The therapist participates in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. The therapist is responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.
Education:
• Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree
Additional requirements:
• Type of degree: Bachelor of Science or equivalent
• Area of study or major: Occupational Therapy
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
• Current Occupational Therapy license in State of Ohio.
• Current CPR / BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at the time of hire.
Experience:
• Preferred experience: 3-5 years of inpatient rehab experience.
• No prior job-related work experience but prefer 3-5 years
