Position Summary This position is responsible for recording and maintaining the transfer of property ownership along with property tax collections of all types. Responsible for name and parcel maintenance. Drainage system record maintenance and parcel history within the property tax system. Responsible for the data maintained in Drainage db and the billing for all drainage related activities. Part of the election team that administers all aspects of election law, including but not limited to, voter registration, election judge training, ballot proofing and testing, SVRS, mail ballots, absentee voting, and all election night activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Maintains parcel records and insures that standardization processes are implemented.
• Collection of property tax, misc collections, drainage assessments, etc.
• Analyze drainage accounts and monitor balances and improper allocations.
• Responsible for election processes as assigned.
• Respond to all telephone inquiries with regard to taxes, MN tax law, and other topics within the assigned responsibility of the A-T office.
• Responsible for record maintenance of the Drainage System programs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
Qualifications • Associates degree to include general office/accounting and 4 years related experience.
OR
• High School Diploma/Equivalent plus 8 years comparable experience in a business, accounting, land, and/or real estate office environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Position is Grade 4 with an entry hourly wage range of $23.14 to $25.96, DOQ.  Position has a full earning potential of up to $32.62 per hour, DOQ.
