Job Description The successful candidate for this position will support the Discipline Team to perform routine HVAC, utilities or plumbing engineering tasks on assigned projects. Job duties include:
• Review and follow project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project baseline documents to meet project requirements and goals
• Review and apply project design criteria based on applicable local codes and client standards
• Prepare design calculations, specifications, and engineering drawings and ensure that they address all relevant project and regulatory requirements
• Participate in activities associated with equipment and material procurement, inspection, testing, acceptance, installation, and commissioning
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and no required previous years of work-related experience (new graduate); a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Mechanical or Architectural Engineering degree
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and contractors
Preferred Qualifications • Achievement of a passing score on the NCEES fundamentals of engineering (FE) exam and desire to obtain a professional engineer (PE) license
• Ability to utilize AutoCAD to produce 2D diagrammatic drawings and sketches
• Ability to utilize Revit to produce 3D HVAC models
• Ability to utilize Plant 3D and/or Revit to produce 3D plumbing models
• Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programs
