GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide Spanish Language support for training and development programs, career pathway programs, employee stabilization services, DEIA processes and education programs.
To provide translation and interpretation support for ESL associates, participants, and applicants; as well as translation support for GIUMSC documents, messages, and curriculum.
To coordinate outreach to ESL communities to promote GIUMSC programs and services.
To coordinate with Human Resources and Workforce Development staff on needed ESL and Spanish Language resources and to ESL and Spanish speaking populations
To act in a manner which reflects Goodwill’s Core Values.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
PEOPLE
• Informs and participates in creating/implementing GIUMSC strategy for Hispanic and ESL partnerships and coordinates the implementation of Mission Integration support of GIUMSC ESL associates.
• Provides outreach services to the ESL community to establish and encourage potential and continuing GIUMSC program participation; identifies barriers and provides access for participants and associates to receive GIUMSC services, resources, and information.
• Provides Spanish language versions of company documents, training, and curriculum content.
• Serves as liaison between GIUMSC and ESL staff, participants, applicants, community agencies, and other key stakeholders and provides information on and support for GIUMSC services.
• Provides case management support to GIUMSC associates enrolled in Mission Integration programs/services and supports Mission Integration staff in training, supportive services, and DEIA initiatives.
• Plans, organizes, and coordinates outreach events for internal/external ESL communities to promote GIUMSC programs and services.
• Teaches in class environment utilizing individualized learning plans for students that can combine group learning with exercises applicable to the whole class or through individualized teaching based on the level and progress of the students.
PERFORMANCE
• Implement Internal Mission Delivery processes and initiatives using the Opportunity Accelerator Framework and practices.
• Conduct needs assessment and/or surveys to evaluate effectiveness of ESL and language services initiatives.
• Analyze, problem solve and make decisions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in technology and tools to support learning and development, training, life stability supportive services, DEIA education, and managing direct reports.
• Oversee community outreach for ESL populations.
• Provide recommendations for supporting ESL employees and participants in training and supportive services.
• Demonstrate ability to prioritize and manage projects to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Ability to maintain excellent communication and presentation skills.
• To perform all other duties as may be assigned.
PROCESS
• Create Spanish Language versions of organizational, forms, documents, applications, communications, and training curriculum.
• Maintain knowledge and utilization of online, Internet based training, technology, and access to educational institutions to maximize training efficiency and consistency in training delivery.
• Maintain accurate information of all training records, reports, library of training materials, case management notes, financial expenditures, etc.
• Plan, prioritize, organize, and coordinate work assignments to meet or exceed internal deadlines and financial stewardship.
• Maintain confidential information.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures.
Responsible to: Mission Integration Manager
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Human Services, Education, Human Resources or related field preferred. Related teaching, program development, team/people management, project management experience may be substituted for educational requirements. The ideal individual should have successfully completed and maintained professional certification(s) and/or credentials. Relevant training experience may be substituted for certificate requirements.
Work Experience: Two to five years’ of work-related skills, knowledge, or experience with a  minimum of two years of practical training and teaching, project management, leading teams/people experience is required.
Qualifications: Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to Goodwill’s liability insurance provider. Each associate must maintain a current and valid driver’s license with limited points and/or traffic citations and adequate automobile liability insurance. Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check.
Physical Requirements: Daily requirements may include climbing, balancing, reaching, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, stooping, kneeling, handling, lifting (up to 50 pounds), carrying (up to 25 pounds), pushing, and pulling. May involve walking or standing to a significant degree. May involve sitting for a great deal of time. General office environment infrequently exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, odors, etc.).
Safety & Security: Report all accidents, however slight, to your supervisor immediately.  Never leave the premises without reporting any accident that occurred during your working time.  If you should need medical treatment during your non-work hours, you should contact your supervisor.

Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday – Friday or whatever hours are required to meet the professional requirements of the job.
