Wastewater Engineer

My client is seeking a talented and experienced Process Engineer Lead to join their dynamic team at a leading engineering firm, as a Process Wastewater Engineering Manager at their growing engineering firm! You will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of engineering professionals while working on a diverse range of high-volume water and wastewater treatment projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one
- 10+ years of municipal water/wastewater process design experience
- 2+ years of experience leading design projects
- Experience with process modeling software (Hydromantis GPS-X, Dynamita Sumo, EnviroSim BioWin)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in multiple states
- 15+ years of municipal water/wastewater process design experience
- 5+ years of experience leading design projects
- Strong relationships with municipal clients in our WDC footprint
- Experience with hydraulic modeling software
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, MS Office, and AutoCAD/Revit
- Active participation in water/wastewater organizations such as AWWA, WEF, WRF
- Strong presentation skills and ability to mentor and communicate with team members
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of process engineers
- Develop conceptual and detailed designs for water and wastewater treatment systems
- Coordinate with other support disciplines and vendors
- Participate in business development activities
- Monitor project budgets and schedules
- Ensure quality work products and adherence to company standards
- Recruit top talent for the process team
